Freelance Submissions:

If you are a translator and like to work with published material, you are interested in Russia and Russian people, you have great English and Russian and can wonderfully translate between the two, you can work with us!
You don’t need to be certified at all, however you must have a talent for creative writing and editorial material.

Many of articles in our magazine were written by relatively unknown writers and illustrated by relatively unknown photographers. We are always interested in any ideas you may have for our magazine.

For publishing your work in Kaleidoscope Magazine, you need to contact us. Send us a letter to freelance@russiankaleidoscope.ca, this letter must give an overview of your work, must include 3-4 paragraphs from your article that directly reflect it, as well as define a purpose of this article being published in our magazine. Include a reason why you think this article should be published.
Please keep in mind that we rarely and almost never agree to publish unfinished work.

We will consider all applications and give you a definite answer within 62 hours.
We do no answer phonecalls or have discussions/negotiations via phone.
We only offer partnership in form on a written dialogue via e-mail or regular mail.
(Regular mail: your work must be sent in computer-readable format – CD)
Phone discussions are reserved only for our permanent authors if concerns/questions arise.

Usually, all articles are published within 2-3 months.
Negotiations regarding payment amounts are made individually, as well as individually for each material.
